Redwood City

 

Redwood City is the third largest city within the County of San Mateo, with over 82,000 residents. The city enjoys an average of 255 sunny days a year, as reflected by the city slogan: "Climate Best by Government Test". Incorporated in 1867, Redwood City is home to the San Mateo County History Museum (located in the county's old courthouse) and the only active deepwater port within the south bay of San Francisco. Redwood City is also home to tech companies like Oracle and Electronic Arts, and many of Silicon Valley's best companies are just a short commute away.

The city's neighborhoods include everything from entry-level condos to picturesque estates, and a newly revitalized downtown area has is home to a myriad of community, art, and music events. With a mix of everything from eclectic clothing boutiques and hobby stores to sophisticated dining and entertainment options, downtown Redwood City has become a go-to destination for entertainment on the Peninsula.
